Fresh okra ( Dherosh) 500g

Okra (scientific name: Abelmoschus esculentus) is also known as Ladies Finger, Bhendi, and Dheros. One of the most popular and widely consumed vegetables in South Asia is okra! We call it Dherosh (ঢেঁড়স) in Bangladesh, and Bhendi (ভেন্ডি) in other places. I’m curious as to who came up with the moniker “Ladies Finger.” Is it due to its thin and lengthy structure? It’s really quirky, in my opinion!
